Geneva County Traffic Record Fields
A court traffic record is the court case or citation file. It can show citation identifiers, charge text, court date, plea or payment status, fine and cost amount, and failure-to-appear risk. It is not the same as an ALEA driver history.

Pay or Contest Traffic Tickets
For listed payable state tickets, the Geneva traffic page says a defendant may avoid court appearance by signing the guilty plea on the back of the ticket copy, attaching a money order or cashier's check, and mailing payment to Geneva County District Court, Traffic Division, PO Box 86, Geneva, AL 36340. The page states that personal checks are not accepted.

Driving school may be permitted at the judge's discretion, but the defendant must appear in court or write to the judge before the court date where allowed.
Insurance and Equipment Tickets
The Geneva traffic page gives special handling for no-insurance and equipment-type tickets. A defendant is not required to appear if proof of insurance on the vehicle driven at citation time is provided before the court date, but month-to-month policies are not accepted. Magistrates can dismiss only one insurance ticket. Later insurance tickets must be decided by the District Judge.
Proof provided within 30 days after court date may result in dismissal after payment of court costs. Proof cannot be provided after 6 months, and the ticket must be paid in full. ALEA says a copy of a driver record is $5.75 and a crash report is $15. Driver records may be purchased online or in person at an ALEA Driver License Office.
Public Geneva Traffic Access

Commercial driver issues can affect a driver record even when the court record starts as a citation. Expungement is not the same as paying a ticket. If eligible, a traffic or municipal ordinance record is handled by petition in circuit court under the Alabama expungement statute cited above. The payment portal does not remove a case from court history or driver history by itself.
